Last week, we were delighted to hold the latest edition of our 2025 Finance Talk Series, in collaboration with the Nova School of Business and Economics Finance Knowledge Center.

On Tuesday, May 7th, we welcomed Pedro Duarte Neves, Advisor for the Board of Directors and former Vice-Governor of Banco de Portugal, for a highly engaging talk on the World Economic and Financial Outlook and how to safeguard financial stability amid rising uncertainty.

Pedro shared key insights from the IMF’s latest Global Financial Stability Report, touching on the risks posed by high debt levels, asset market corrections, and the growing role of non-bank financial institutions.
